Our Global Partnership

Educhild Foundation Inc. is proud to be a founding member of the International Federation for Family Development (IFFD), a global network dedicated to strengthening families through parent education and research. IFFD holds General Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and regularly organizes international congresses on the family, contributing to global dialogue and policy on family development. Today, its programs are implemented in 68 countries across five continents through an extensive network of volunteers, making it the largest international civil society organization devoted to family development.

Through this partnership, Educhild gains access to internationally developed, evidence-based frameworks and the widely recognized case-method approach to parent education—ensuring that its programs are both structured and impactful. At the same time, Educhild actively contributes Philippine perspectives to the global community, adapting best practices to the cultural context and realities of Filipino families. This dynamic exchange enables continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration across regions.

Together, Educhild and IFFD work toward a long-term vision: to accompany families across generations, supporting parents in their role as primary educators, and fostering homes where children can grow in dignity, responsibility, and love.

The 2024 IFFD Cebu Congress, organized in partnership with International Federation for Family Development and hosted by Educhild Foundation Inc., brought together family educators, experts, and parents from across the region for a meaningful exchange on contemporary family life. Held in Cebu City, the congress featured keynote talks, panel discussions, and workshops that addressed pressing parenting challenges, including digital influences, adolescent development, and strengthening family relationships. The event served as a platform for sharing best practices and reinforcing a common vision: to support parents as the primary educators of their children and to promote the family as a vital foundation for sustainable and thriving societies.
